Hi there! I am the founder, owner, and CEO of Unique Pathways. I did not plan a career in ABA, and I did not anticipate owning a company at any point in my life. My love was, and still is, the ocean. I had planned on becoming a Marine Biologist specializing in the study of sharks. God had other plans and is continuing to lead me through the journey I am currently on. I began my career over 25 years ago when I took a job as a nanny in Dallas. One of the kids was diagnosed with Autism. At that time, I had not heard of ABA, and my knowledge of autism was limited; think “Rain Man.” As I observed and learned more about the science, I made the decision to become a direct therapist, and so began my journey.

I have worked with children as young as 18 months and as old as 23 all of whom had varied skill, behavior, and development levels. I have assisted in designing numerous IEPs and accompanied families of school-age children to their annual ARD meetings. I shadowed 20 of my 25 years in private schools throughout the DFW metroplex. I designed and led yearly-held summer camps; targeting social and emotional development, and had the privilege of traveling with families, domestically and abroad, in order for their child to actively participate in family vacations. In 2015, I was hired to start and oversee the shadowing program for a private Christian school in Grapevine, Texas. Shortly thereafter, I was promoted to Director and, after five years, resigned to focus solely on Unique Pathways. Additionally, I sit on multiple expert panels designed to assist ABA business owners. ABA must remain child-focused, tailoring each program to meet the child’s development and needs. I value quality over quantity.

I am originally from Kansas and the oldest of seven children. I have been with my husband for 25 years. We have a beautiful daughter, a German Shepherd named Sophie, and a cat named Goldie. Once upon a time, you would have found my husband and me cruising around town on our Harleys; however, we have traded our bikes in for the next best thing, an oldie but Goldy, CJ-7 Jeep. I enjoy meeting new people and look forward to God’s path for me.

I am originally from South Dakota but have been living in the Dallas Metro for almost five years. I grew up all over the Midwestern United States and have also lived in northern Canada. I am a Christian and have been since April 4, 2013, which is my primary reason for being in a sensitive and amazing field such as this one! I am married with three wonderful children.

I received my undergraduate degree in psychology from South Dakota State University while working for a behavior analytic company and accumulating experience for approximately 2 years as a line-level therapist for individuals with autism. Simultaneously, I attended The Sage Colleges M.S. program in Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism and am currently a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

​Before coming to Unique Pathways, I served as a Clinical Supervisor over school-based, home-based, residential, and consult-based programs in a variety of settings. I have extensive experience assessing, programming, and creating a successful program for individuals with autism and related disorders. I also have experience conducting in-depth training with parents, school professionals, and clinical staff.

I’m now the Clinical Director after serving as the Lead BCBA at Unique Pathways for four years and absolutely love what we are trying to accomplish as a company. I am blessed to be part of a team that genuinely cares for all children and is motivated by providing quality service to others.

My journey began in direct care, and through continued dedication and personal growth, I’ve been privileged to advance within this organization — one that I deeply believe in and proudly serve. Unique Pathways has played a significant role in shaping not only my career but also my heart for this work.

I am continually inspired by the commitment of our team and the meaningful impact we have on the lives of the clients and families we serve. Watching our clients grow and succeed fuels my passion every day. Hi all, I’m a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who is currently serving a variety of group ages (18 months- 18 years of age). I received my undergraduate degree from Texas Woman’s University in 2016, specializing in Child Development with an emphasis on Child Life. Shortly after, I began attending the University of Cincinnati where I received my Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2019. While working towards my Master’s degree, I worked as a therapist, team leader, and training coordinator.

Before onboarding to Unique Pathways, I served as a Clinic Supervisor/BCBA, supervising clients in the clinic setting. I have been in the ABA field since 2016 and have experience working with children with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) in a variety of settings, including clinic, home, and school settings. Serving our families has been such an amazing experience and I thank all of the families for continuously trusting us with the treatment and care of their loved ones. The outcomes that ABA is able to provide, along with the support of other professionals, have allowed us to see our clients grow and bloom in amazing ways.

When I’m not working, I’m enjoying my time with my beautiful and energetic daughter, Emma. We love spending time outdoors playing with bubbles, riding her bike, gardening, and doing all kinds of fun activities. I’m beyond thankful for the opportunity I have been given to work with a company that is so family-oriented, is faith-based, and has great values.

Originally from a small town in Louisiana, my journey recently brought me to Texas, where I became part of Apostolic Church Dallas, a community that quickly grew into something that feels like home. That transition wasn’t just about a new place, but about stepping into a new season of life, both personally and professionally.

Today, I have the privilege of serving on the Administrative Team at Unique Pathways. I’m passionate about supporting the mission from behind the scenes and helping create an environment that is organized, efficient, and welcoming for both our team and the families we serve. I find a lot of fulfillment in making sure the day to day details are handled well so that others can focus on the life changing work happening at the center.

Outside of work, life is full and meaningful with my wife and our two sons. Whether we’re spending time together at home, staying active through running or pickleball, or exploring new local coffee shops, we value the simple moments that allow us to connect and grow as a family. Discovering new coffee spots has become one of our favorite traditions. It is a small but meaningful way we slow down and enjoy the community around us.

I’m Anthony, but I go by Tony. I was born in St. Petersburg, Florida, but was raised in Texas. I joined the Navy and served on the U.S.S. Enterprise, where I worked on the flight deck. I completed two tours of the Western Pacific Ocean, traveling from San Francisco to Hawaii, numerous ports in the Far East, Africa, and Australia. After the Navy, I went to school and earned a degree in Mental Health and Addiction.

I began working in the mental health field in 1996 in an acute psychiatric unit specializing in children and adolescents. After my graduation, I took a clinical position working with adolescents in a therapeutic community in Dallas where I was promoted to clinical manager. The opportunity became available as the assistant director of a major substance abuse treatment facility in Texas, where I supervised the operations of the adult detoxification unit, Men’s residential program, and the HIV residential program.

I contracted a serious case of COVID and was unable to work for over a year. I yearned to get back to work and found a position working with children on the autism spectrum. Serving these precious young lives IS a rewarding and enriching experience. I believe there is no better service than to teach young minds life and daily functioning skills that they can take away to improve their futures.

When I’m not working, I’m an active member of my church and gym. I try to visit with my elderly mother and walk her dog as much as possible, and I love spending time with my daughter and 5 year old grandson.

Hello! I grew up in Oakland, CA. I was the only boy in our family, and I played sports my entire life (football, baseball, and basketball) and loved competing. When I started high school, we moved from CA to Idaho, where I finished high school and attended Idaho State University. I met my wife at ISU, and we were married in 2006. We have two daughters, and I enjoy spoiling them.

I have over 15 years of experience working with the special needs community in a myriad of roles. I began working with individuals with special needs in 2004, where I managed homes for disadvantaged people with special needs. When my family moved to AZ in 2009, I ran a day treatment facility for individuals with special needs. After 5 years of running the day treatment facility, I became the director for the developmental home program for the same company. I ran the program until my family moved to Texas in March of 2024. Now I’m excited to begin my ABA journey with Unique Pathways.

Hey ya’ll! I was born and raised in Fort Worth Texas, and attended college at the University of Texas at Dallas, where I obtained my B.S. in Psychology. I have been with Unique Pathway’s since the start of 2021, my experience here has been and continues to be a true blessing. I am so grateful to be part of a team whose mission and values reflect so well into my own.

I have been working with children with special needs since my teen years, but feel I’ve found my true calling in the world of ABA. I fell in love with the practice as an RBT, and am continuing to grow that love as an office administrator. I believe that every child deserves a safe, supportive, positive, and thoughtful learning environment. As office administrator I am committed to ensuring this for each child that we serve.

Hello! I’m so excited to be part of the Unique Pathways team! I bring nearly six years of ABA experience and a deep passion for supporting children and families. My love for ABA began through my niece, who was diagnosed with autism a few years ago. Experiencing first hand both the challenges and the joys of autism inspired me to dedicate my career to helping children reach their full potential.

After many fulfilling years as an RBT, I now enjoy working behind the scenes as an ABA Office Administrator. I strive to create a fun, organized, and positive environment for both our staff and the incredible children we get to see every day. I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the success of our team and to be part of a company that always prioritizes the best interests of the children we serve.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and partner, exploring new places, going on trips, and trying new recipes in the kitchen. Hello, my name is Jyraneka Leonard, but most people know me as Red. I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, a place that will always be home to me. After Hurricane Katrina in 2005, my life, like the lives of so many others, changed dramatically. I spent years moving between New Orleans and Texas, adapting, rebuilding, and continuing to grow both personally and professionally.

Three years ago, when I found out I was expecting my now two-year-old daughter, I made the decision to settle permanently in Dallas. Becoming a mother grounded me and gave me a renewed sense of purpose. Dallas has given me stability, opportunities, and a community where I can build a life for my family.

Throughout my career, I’ve gained experience in a variety of roles, including direct care support, office management, and supervisory positions. These experiences taught me how to lead with compassion, communicate effectively, and stay organized in fast-paced environments. I’ve always been someone who steps in where I’m needed, and I take pride in being dependable, adaptable, and willing to learn new skills.
Joining Unique Pathways has been a meaningful step for me. This company is more than just a workplace; it’s a mission-driven organization that aligns closely with my personal values. I’m genuinely proud to be part of a team that is dedicated to helping individuals and families thrive. I plan to contribute not only through hard work, but by offering support, understanding, and empathy wherever I can.

My connection to this field is deeply personal. My nephew and Godson, who is eight years old, is on the autism spectrum, so I’ve seen firsthand the importance of patience, guidance, and specialized support. Watching his growth has taught me so much about resilience, individuality, and the power of the right resources. Because of him, the work everyone does at Unique Pathways holds a very special place in my heart.

I was born and raised in North East Texas in a really small town between Greenville and Paris Texas, you’ll miss it if you blink. I have one younger sibling. I have always loved caring for people and helping them. My journey into ABA occurred when I stumbled across a program at Baylor University during a graduate school tour with my Undergraduate Program called McNair Scholars. I met with the Dean of the school and fell in love with the thought of helping children progress in school and in the community.

I studied at Baylor University in their Masters Educational Psychology Program that emphasized in Applied Behavior Analysis. With this program I was able to interact with individuals with varying abilities. Every single encounter helped me grow and further fall in love with the field. I graduated this program in 2019 and moved on to clinical work. I currently have 4 + years’ experience working in ABA, including my practicum and graduate work studies. I really hope to someday target the more rural and less targeted individuals.

Outside of work, I like relaxing and planning meals. I enjoy cooking, but I love sharing it even more. I love to read, swim and watch mystery investigations. Sometimes just sitting with a a good book or binge watching watching anime/ dramas makes for a good day, as well. I tend to be a perfectionist and put a lot of thought into my work. projects and ideas. I like to consider everyone else’s thoughts, feelings. opinions, allergies (when I’m cooking for a group). I like making people feel included and valued. I hope to continue making a positive impact with my work and I can’t wait to meet you

I was born and raised in Baldwin, NY on Long Island. I have always been an avid sports fan (Go Mets and Islanders!!) and athlete, playing softball and ice hockey for as long as I can remember. I went to school at the University of New Haven, where I played collegiate softball while getting my Bachelors in Management of Sports Industries and my M.B.A. Coaching softball after graduating made me realize how much I adore working with kids. Quickly after entering the business world, I began school…..again. But this time to become a Special Education Teacher!

I worked as a Teaching Assistant in a Pre-K Special Education Class, 2nd Grade Inclusion Class, and 3-5 Grade Self-Contained Class from 2017-2021 on Long Island. I received my Master’s in Special Education from Molloy College in 2021 before moving to Texas. My career at Unique Pathways began in August of 2021. Shortly after, in 2022, I received my advanced certificate inBehavior Analysis from Florida Institute of Technology. I am extremely fortunate to be able to spend my career doing what I love, helping kids reach their full potential.

Hello! I was born in Indiana and lived there until I was 23. I moved to Texas in August of 2023. I completed my undergraduate degree in psychology at Ball State University, Muncie, IN. My plan was to become a Certified Child Life Specialist, and as one of my fieldwork experiences, I worked at an ABA clinic. I absolutely loved the work that I was doing, so I went back to school to get my Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis. I graduated in July of 2023, and am working towards becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

I have enjoyed working with children for as long as I can remember. It started with babysitting when I was younger and working with the children at my church. I worked as an associate teacher before finding my calling of working with children with autism as an RBT. I have been an RBT since 2020. I have worked with individuals from ages 2 to 21 in a variety of settings, such as school, in-home, and clinic-based. I have been fortunate to have opportunities in assisting with assessments, program planning, and training staff members. I love having the ability to make a difference in others lives and my passion continues to motivate me in my work.

Since I just recently moved, my goal is to make friends and find a community. I have always been very social and love being able to make connections with others. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, working out, and exploring Texas. I will also be studying like my life depends on it to pass the BCBA exam.

Hi all! I grew up in California and received my bachelor’s from California Baptist University in sociology. I had not heard of applied behavior analysis until I was looking to see what jobs I could do with my degree in sociology and a listing for a behavior technician came up.

As a behavior technician, I worked at home and in the school settings. After a year, I started at Capella University to get my master’s with a specialization in ABA and child development. I love seeing the kids progress and expanding on their communication. I became a BCBA in 2022! Most of my experience has been working in the home setting.

When I am not working, I like to be outside in nature. If there’s water such as the ocean, river or lake I will be jumping in to it. Sometimes I will do art such as painting or scrapbooking. You can also find me volunteering with kids at church on Sundays. We can all grow.

Hi all! I was born and (partially) raised in Tampa, Florida. My dad was in the Air Force, so I spent about three years living in Honolulu prior moving to the Dallas-Fort Worth area in 2013. I like to spend my free time with my animals (two dogs, two cats) and my fellow dog parents going to trivia, having game nights, and enjoying some good Tex-Mex!

I graduated from Florida Institute of Technology in 2025 with my M.A. in Applied Behavior Analysis Practice, but my journey with ABA began way back in 2016. I was introduced to the field when trying to pick what I would like to major in for my undergraduate degree and it was love at first class! At the point of graduation, I was still unsure of my path going forward – BCBA or lawyer? With my experience working with children, at that point about 5 years, I decided to take a gap year to try out the professional side of ABA. My time as an RBT only made the path clearer, there was no option for me but to be a BCBA.

My career with Unique Pathways began in December of 2021, where I began my graduate and supervision program not long after. I have been blessed to work in such a caring and supportive environment, not only for the kids but also for our team. Even when it seemed like I would never achieve my goal of being a BCBA, the UP team was always here to hold me up and celebrate my eventual achievement.

Over the years my love for this field has only grown. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to support families and to watch our clients flourish into their fullest potential.

I was born in Mineral Wells and raised in Santo, Texas, before moving to Denton to attend the University of North Texas, where I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology. After graduating, I originally planned to pursue a career in mental health counseling. However, after beginning my career as a Registered Behavior Technician in 2023, I quickly fell in love with the field of ABA and discovered a passion for advocating for children and giving a voice to those who may not yet have one of their own. Within just three months of entering the field, I was accepted into graduate school and have continued working in ABA ever since.

I later earned my Master’s degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis from Texas Tech University — wreck ’em! I am passionate about creating compassionate, individualized, and engaging therapy that helps children build communication, social, play, and adaptive living skills while gaining confidence and independence along the way. I especially enjoy using naturalistic and play-based approaches to make learning meaningful and motivating for each child.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, golfing, crafting, decorating, and spending time with my French bulldog, Lilo!

Hey y’all! I grew up in Allen, T​X; I am the second oldest of five children. Growing up with a lot of siblings​, I learned early the value ​of working as a team. The intentional collaboration across teams is what I love most about working at Unique Pathways.

I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from East Texas A&M University, where I also played on the women’s basketball team. I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis ​to ​become a BCBA. I started my ABA journey in 2020. I was drawn to the ABA field by the fun, compassion​, and encouragement that is emphasized in the learning process.

When I’m not working​, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, playing sports, sudoku puzzles (hidden talent), ​and buying new plants.

Hello! I was born and raised in the DFW metroplex, specifically the Keller area. I graduated high school in 2022 and headed out west to Stephenville, Texas to attend the best kept secret, Tarleton State University! I am studying Communication Sciences and disorders, in hopes to become a Speech and Language Pathologist.

I am the fourth child of eight! I know, life was never boring. That being said, I have been in the routine of taking care of others my whole life. From a young age, I interacted with children of all ages who were diagnosed with autism through a close family member. I was also exposed to ABA at a young age. I have interacted with children with special needs for as long as I can remember. I began working with children as a lifeguard giving swim lessons and began babysitting for other families at the age of 14. I have had the amazing opportunity to work at Unique Pathways the past two summers as an intern, so I am very excited to take on a more permanent position as an RBT!

When I am not at work, I enjoy spending my days out hiking, traveling, spending time with friends/family, and playing with my pets. I love new experiences and have been told I am an experience junkie! I look forward to meeting new people, and am excited to be part of the Unique Pathways family.

Hello everyone! My name is Ayumi but I go by Amy.

I am originally from Japan, but I believe I am Texan! I graduated from Dallas Baptist University with my master’s degree in counseling. I have been working in the ABA field since March of 2021, and I am planning to enroll in a BCBA certification program soon. My ultimate goal is to become a BCBA.

I love working in ABA therapy and I am blessed to work with our clients. I have personally seen the benefits of ABA therapy. For example, reduced behaviors, improved social and life skills, communication skills, as well as a host of other benefits. I believe that God has a plan for all of us, and I am here to serve our clients and their families as well.

My favorite time of day is to spend time with my dogs and watch my favorite Japanese dramas on YouTube. I am married and have enjoyed being a stepmom since 2011. I love my family and being who I am. But the most important fact about me is “I love Jesus!”

I was fortunate enough to be born and raised in the beautiful state of Michigan, where I spent my childhood as the oldest of four siblings. My educational journey led me to Daytona College in sunny Daytona, Florida, where I pursued a degree in business. This knowledge proved invaluable when I returned to Michigan to assist my father with his company.

A devout Christian, I have always been driven by a desire to positively impact the next generation and contribute to making the world a better place. Blessed with two daughters, my eldest was diagnosed with ASD at the tender age of 2. As a young father, I was initially bewildered by this news and sought to educate myself on autism so that I could provide the best possible care for her.

During my free time, I love to spend it with my wonderful wife and daughters. We often visit the zoo or parks, or we enjoy cozying up at home to watch Disney movies. Additionally, I have a passion for painting and am actively engaged in serving my church community.

Hey y’all, I’m Megan, born and raised in Louisiana, but just planted my roots down in Texas. I am the youngest of two in a headstrong family, all under 5’3”. Family is my everything. I might still get carded for R-rated movies, but don’t be fooled! My birthday is in the 1900’s.

I’ve always had a soft spot for kids—seriously, they’re my favorite little humans! I kicked off my career as a nanny for my oldest niece, and let me tell you, it was a privilege to watch her grow and tackle the world one tiny step at a time. After that, I hopped over to The Little Gym, where I assisted in management and taught classes. My favorite? The Mommy and Me sessions! Nothing beats watching those little ones progress—plus, I can still remember every kid’s name like they’re part of my own family tree.Then I dove into the world of ABA therapy at The Art in Me and spent five amazing years there. Watching a client light up when they crush a goal? Absolutely priceless!

When I’m not busy with work, you’ll find me chilling with my fianc. and our three lovable disasters: Benji (13), Winston (1.5), and our newest little money pit, Red (2?), a rescue who found us, out in the country, and completely won over our hearts and our wallets. I love long-boarding, tackling puzzles, and, of course, dominating at Mario Kart (watch out, world!). My perfect day? Just relaxing with friends and family, munching on some crawfish, and cheering on the Saints—Who Dat!

Hi all, I was born in South Africa, where I grew up for my early childhood, until my dad moved to the US for a job. Since middle school, I have been attending school here, participating in the IB World School program for high school, and then attending the University of Texas at Arlington, where I graduated with a BA in History and Psychology.

Throughout college, I’ve been working as a tutor and in other learning facilitation positions at the Academic Success Center. It was during my Behavioral Management and Analysis class where I first figured out how robust and elegant stimulus-response processes are not only in learning but also in better understanding the social sciences.

In my junior year I started training as an RBT, and I have been working in ABA for over two years now. I intend to pursue clinical psychology in graduate school and one day get licensed.

When I’m not working, I enjoy playing with my pet rats, working on my ambient project, playing video games, and writing reviews for a music website in the Netherlands.

Hello! My name is Alexis but you can call me Lexie! I was born and raised in Altus, OK. I graduated from Altus High School in 2021 and attended Western Oklahoma State College where I obtained my Associates in Psychology. After a year, I transferred to Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in child development.

I originally was an education major before enrolling in the general psychology course, where I found my passion for working with children with disabilities. I knew pretty soon that I wanted to work in the ABA field, and I am so excited to finally be here! I grew up as the only girl in the family with two brothers, where I found my love for sports! In high school, I ran hurdles in track and was an athletic trainer for football! Some of my hobbies include reading, cooking, and quality time with friends and family!

You may be wondering, “Why is an Oklahoman moving to Texas”? In the Fall of 2026, I will be attending North Texas University to obtain my Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis. I truly believe in God’s plan and that He sent me to Grapevine to find my home at Unique Pathways!

Hi!! I’m blessed to be a part of the Unique Pathways team! I was born and raised in the state of California and decided to make the move to the wonderful state of Texas. My core value has always been service above self. I’ve worked in senior care assisted living, which was an amazing job working amongst amazing residents filled with wisdom, and being able to have conversations about life and seeing them laugh and find joy in the simple things of life will forever impact me. I would help coordinate events and work on administrative duties. I then moved on to the business sector of real estate and joined a team where I worked alongside clients and brokers to sell and buy properties. It was amazing and I learned much about business, but it wasn’t my purpose.

I truly enjoy helping and sharing the gifts God has put inside me as I am uncovering more and more as life continues. God has a way of paving the way. I knew I wanted to help children, but I didn’t know how or in what capacity. I’ve always loved to volunteer with children when opportunities arose in school. I would sign up for after-school classes for ESL learners and enjoyed tutoring in the library. I currently serve in the children’s ministry in my local church. I love teaching and helping children. I served as a member of the Morgan Hill Rotary Club and was awarded a scholarship.

I graduated from the City of Morgan Hill Leadership Class of 2023. In this class, we would host community events for the children in our community and were a part of many different creative implementations in the city. Having a cousin who is autistic who lives in another country, I’ve seen the limited amount of resources or help there is for her and how that has impacted her life. I made a decision to pursue a career in ABA therapy. I find purpose and joy in what I do, and it is a blessing to work alongside our clients. I am excited for this new chapter of my life and look forward to working with our kiddos!

Hi there! I’m Damaris Rodriguez, and I come from the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. Eleven years ago, I made the move to Texas, ​and I’ve been happily married for 11 years. Together, we have two amazing kids, aged 12 and 8. Our family is rounded out by two playful dogs and a curious little ferret who always keeps us on our toes. For the past 7 years, I’ve been working as a special education teacher’s assistant, and I absolutely love it! Watching children develop and grow in their unique ways brings me so much joy. Currently, I’m also pursuing a bachelor’s degree in psychology to broaden my educational horizons. In my free time, you’ll often find me lost in a good book, enjoying quality moments with my family, or out camping under the stars. It’s those little moments that make life special! ​

Hi friends!! My name is Autumn Gaines, and I’ve had the pleasure of working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for 1 year and 7 months. My time in ABA has been nothing short of rewarding. Each moment has been a step forward in a never-ending journey of growth, learning, and success.

I’ve always been a natural-born giver and nurturer at heart. I find joy in bringing peace, happiness, and connection into the lives of others. My school years were spent at Clinton High School, where one of my most cherished memories was attending prom with a student with special needs—an experience that made my special day unforgettable. Most of my recesses were spent getting to know children with special needs, always asking myself: How can I be a meaningful piece of their world—even if just for today? This is my heart!

Being adopted, I learned early on the importance of advocacy—for myself and for others who face challenges the world doesn’t always understand. From a young age, I knew I wanted to help change that. I wanted to help create a world that is more inclusive, understanding, and compassionate. Experiences like these are why my heart is so connected to the friend I’ve chosen.

I’m passionate about making a difference in the lives of the clients and families I’m honored to serve. The impact ABA has is truly life-changing, and I’m beyond excited to continue this meaningful work—with YOU!

My name is Ya’kira Cosse, but I go by Kira. I was born and semi-raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, and I am a Katrina evacuee. I moved to Texas when I was 12 years old, and I’ve always been someone who values family, connection, and helping others. Over the years, I’ve built experience working with children, including in my role as a Registered Behavior Technician, where I support kids with developmental differences in reaching their goals. I’m passionate about making a positive impact, whether it’s through my career, supporting loved ones, or contributing to my community.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my partner, listening to music, exploring new experiences around Dallas, and continuing to grow both personally and professionally. My journey has been shaped by resilience, compassion, and the belief that every step forward, big or small, matters.

Hi y’all! My name is Haley. I was born and raised in the DFW metroplex, so working in Grapevine already feels like home. I graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from Arizona State University in May 2025 and am working toward becoming a Registered Behavioral Technician. In the future, I plan to attend graduate school to become a trauma-informed Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

I am excited for my journey with Unique Pathways, as I was drawn to Jennifer’s emphasis on putting people above profit, which resonates with my passion for meaningful, intentional support. Regarding my interest in ABA, I have always been fascinated by the connection between brain function and behavior, and I love getting to apply psychology in real-world settings with an empathetic approach and a focus on helping others succeed—and Unique Pathways allows me to bring all of these passions together in my work.

I am passionate about advocating for equity, dignity, and opportunity for all, and I strive to approach life and work with those values in mind. Mental health is also essential, and therapy and self-reflection are powerful tools for personal and relational growth. I am a lover of people and cultures. I enjoy concerts, exploring nature, journaling, and finding creative outlets. I also spend much of my time with my friends, family, and my dog, Tate. Those who know me best describe me as loyal, easygoing, and warm, and I try to live with resilience, humor, and a genuine spirit.

While in college, I was a bartender/bar manager for 4 years. Post-college I was a mortgage auditor and HR assistant for 3 years. I then started my ABA journey, becoming an RBT in November of 2017, eight years ago. I have worked with the integrated Walden model of ABA and also the 1:1 approach to ABA.

I married my high school sweetheart after traveling Europe in 2017. We welcomed our first son in 2019 and then our second son in 2021.

When I’m not working, I am the Treasurer of Nonprofit M.O.M.S. (Moms Offering Moms Support) club of HEB. I am also a part of the HEBisd PTA, which keeps me pretty busy. I enjoy spending time with my children and going to musical concerts.

I’m a DFW native, and I’m very grateful and excited to continue my career in ABA! My whole life, I wanted to be a teacher for kiddos. It wasn’t until a family member of mine was diagnosed with autism that my passion for caregiving and ABA was sparked.

I hope to be a pillar of support for other families on the same journey. Seeing my clients reach milestones, the confidence it brings them, and the joy it brings their families, inspires me every day. Helping autistic individuals find their voice and navigate the world on their own terms is so incredibly fulfilling. It’s my purpose!

Shortly after earning my Associate’s degree, I became an RBT and now have three wonderful years of clinical experience. I plan to further my education and career in this field to become an Occupational Therapist!

Hello. I’m Pierre, originally from Chicago, IL, and I’m the oldest of three. I have two younger brothers. My magnificent mother had an in-home daycare center growing up, so I was always around kids. That’s where I gained my passion for working with them. I piggybacked off the daycare center and started my own tutoring services. I’ve also worked as a gym instructor and pt teacher.

I attended Fort Valley State University in Georgia before moving back to Chicago to pursue real estate opportunities. At the age of 19, I became a loan officer and sold my first property on the very street I grew up on, the west side of Chicago. I’ve lived in multiple states in my lifetime, and Texas is the latest. Hopefully it’ll be the greatest!

Last but not least, I have a wonderful teenage daughter who is in the class of 2026! Peace and Blessings to All!

Hey, hey, ya’ll! My name is Christian I am originally from Houston, Texas and I’m the oldest of 2 siblings. After taking some time away from school, I became highly interested in working in ABA to learn more in-depth about autism. I will complete my bachelor’s degree in education and pursue my master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis to become a BCBA.

During my free time, I love going for walks at the park, working out, shopping, playing video games, and, since I’m a big foodie, eating at different restaurants. I also enjoy listening to music whenever I have time as well. I’m extremely grateful and excited to start my journey with Unique Pathways to make an impact!

Hello! My name is Aurora Brink. I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, and moved to Texas in September 2025. While I miss Alaska, I’ve been enjoying the heat and new experiences Texas has to offer.

I began working at 14 and quickly found my passion for helping others. After graduating high school at 17, I worked in assisted living and provided in-home care as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), later transitioning into a Direct Support Professional (DSP) role supporting adolescents and adults with disabilities.

I am passionate about building meaningful relationships and helping individuals develop life skills and independence. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), I look forward to supporting children as they learn, grow, and develop skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.

Born and raised in Dallas, I’m a proud sports-loving, music-obsessed mama who joined the ABA community after my son was diagnosed with autism. That moment changed everything for me—what started as a mother’s desire to understand and support her child quickly turned into a lifelong passion for advocating for the autism community. I’ve learned that small victories matter, that empathy and patience can move mountains, and that sometimes you just have to laugh through the chaos (because there’s a lot of it!).

When I’m not cheering on my son or advocating for families, you can usually find me obsessing over the Dallas Mavericks, curating the perfect playlist for every mood, or passionately debating sports stats like my life depends on it. I bring the same energy, heart, and commitment to my work as I do to my family and my favorite teams—because whether it’s supporting the ABA community or celebrating a Mavs win, showing up fully is always worth it.

Hi, my name is Akilah! I was born in Colorado and raised in Texas. My passion for working with children developed later in my adult years while serving as a youth leader for church summer camps and ministries. Through those experiences, I discovered how much I loved supporting and encouraging young people as they grow and learn.

As I began exploring career paths that involved working with neurodivergent children, I found my way into the field of ABA. It wasn’t the path I originally imagined for myself, but I truly believe God has a way of guiding us exactly where we’re meant to be. What started as an unexpected journey has turned into a calling that I’m grateful to continue pursuing.

In my free time, you can usually find me enjoying the outdoors, watching movies, or spending time at social gatherings with friends and family.

Hi, my name is Kiara but everyone calls me Kiki. I am military child born and raised in Killeen, Texas. I am the youngest of 4 and also the only girl. I moved up here to the Fort Worth area in 2017 and went to pursue a degree in Nursing but plans changed when I was encountered with a family who had a child with autism and my small interaction with this family changed it all. I was drawn to this and that’s when I decided to learn more about being and RBT and decided to pursue that journey.  I have been working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for 3 years, and I truly believe this work is part of my purpose.

What I love most about being an RBT is making a difference one small win at a time watching progress turn into confidence and being a safe, happy place for my clients. It brings me so much joy to support each child’s growth and celebrate who they are becoming.

When I am not working In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my nephews. I love working on a good Lego set and expressing my creativity through painting. I also serve at my church in both the children’s ministry and with the youth, where my passion for the next generation continues to grow. Above all, my favorite time is my time with God. I love learning more about Him and growing in my relationship with Him, and I strive to carry that love, patience, and purpose into everything I do.

I am excited to be a part of the team and learn and grow. I am Called to serve, committed to care, and passionate about making a difference.
